悉尼代写assignment Overview

    Assessment 2: Assignment (30%)
    Overview
The assignment is in two parts. Part A consists of several short answer questions. Part B requires students to write a short letter to a lawyer, outlining a proposed course of action or response to issues/s arising within his or her business and seeking advice as to the legality of that action. The assignment is worth 30 per cent of your overall mark and each part is worth 15 marks (15 per cent).
    Details
The assignment will be based on Modules 2 and 3. The assignment question and further instructions about completing the task, including a recommended format for the letter, will be posted on vUWS during Week 4 or before.

Importantly, the assignment does not require you to do direct legal research, or to do legal problem solving, as such. The focus is on identification of legal issues that arise from common business decisions and on conducting your business in a way that complies with any relevant legal requirements. You will not be required to be your own lawyer, but to know when to seek professional legal help and what information/facts you should tell your lawyer about what is happening in your business, so that the lawyer will be able to do his or her work. You are therefore not being assessed on your ability to provide legal analysis as such (which is the lawyer’s job), but on your ability to know when there is a legal issue that you should be aware of, and to explain an appropriate business response to the situation. Further information on how to approach the assignment will be provided with the questions.

An acceptable level of referencing to relevant business law texts and articles, business sources, and suitable online resources (e.g. government sites) is required to show us how you support your answers. You may cite legal materials such as cases and legislation and this may improve your mark for evidence and referencing, if done accurately, but it is not a strict requirement for this assignment.
